AT HAYWARD FREE METHODIST CHURCH WE BELIEVE THAT EVERYONE NEEDS AN OUTLET. HERE ARE SOME WAYS TO GET CONNECTED.
We also believe that every member has a gift they can use to serve others. Whether it's helping out with our children's ministry or singing on the worship team or cleaning the sanctuary – every member is important. Let us know if you would like to get involve.

Our Nursery class encourages every child to explore and make friends as they learn about God.

In Play
We believe that God has a lot to teach us from the world he created. Our nursery children use their imagination as they interact and play inside & outside the classroom.
In Song & Dance
Who doesn't like a little song and dance? Your child will learn bible stories & verses as they move and groove to both new and old christian music.
In Crafts
Each child is an artist at heart. You can see this vividly through the various crafts we work on every Sunday. Join us as we paint, color, cut and build.

CHILDREN / JR. YOUTH MINISTRY
The Jr. Youth ministry exists to bring children an environment where they can learn stories of the bible. It is a place where they truly can begin their journey of faith in Christ. We continually engage our class by encouraging them to ask questions, build friendships, and seek God in everything that they do. Our vision is to provide them with a strong start to their foundation of faith. We hope that these children will grow in their own relationship with God and believe that He is their Lord & Savior.

We live in an era of influence. You are influenced by social media, celebrities, school, work and families. It is easy to be swayed by what you think the world expects you to be. But what is it that will really bring you to realize and find your true self?

A JOurney taken together
The Youth + 20 somethings are comprised of high school and college aged individuals who are learning to figure out who they really are. Together they meet for bible studies, retreats, dance routines and the occasional jam session. With each fellowship meeting, they grow to learn more about each other and the God they serve. No one is expected to have it all figured out in life. They simply come to fellowship just as they are. And are bonded together in the understanding that it is God who will mold them to be their true selves.

a christ centered young adult's fellowship
Our Young Adult group is composed of young married couples ages 25 & up who have dedicated their lives & relationships to Christ. They are a core group within our church that support a multitude of ministries. They sing, dance, act, and lead worship services. Yet, they still make time to meet amongst themselves to talk about God and the realities of living in this world. For them, Christ will always be the center of why the group exists. Come sit, laugh, listen, chat and pray with us.

A group of men who encourages each other's growth in Christ and build a deep friendship with other godly men.
We are Christ-centered ministry focus on spiritual development, giftedness and outreach. We gather regularly with our pastor to seek God’s direction for the ministry and it’s leaders. With God’s leadership, we try to establish ways to reach out to, connect with and appeal to men of varying interests. We have activities all throughout the year designed for fun and friendship such as men’s retreat, summer picnics, basketball and breakfast gatherings. Everyone is invited to come and fellowship with us.

We are sisters, mothers, wives, friends, counselors, doctors and most of all, the beloved daughters of the Christ. Together we Praise Him. It is our hope to share our stories and bring hope to all women fighting their own spiritual battles.

Our praise & worship team brings together a beautiful mix of new and old songs. From modern worship songs to hymnals, we make sure to play music that can relate to all ages and appeal to all generations.
